For Siam & Co shop orders, we process your personal data on the basis of contract performance — processing your data is necessary to fulfil your order and deliver it to you. For abandoned cart and win-back emails, we rely on your consent or our legitimate interest where applicable under UK GDPR and PECR.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we never will. In order to fulfil our obligations to you, we may on occasion need to share relevant information with trusted parties including our veterinarian for the purpose of health certificates, airline carriers in the case of international exports, the GCCF for kitten registration purposes, KatKin in order to arrange a complimentary box of food for your new kitten, our pet insurance provider to arrange your complimentary cover and our microchip registration service to register your kitten's microchip details. In every case, data is only shared where it is strictly necessary and all parties are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

For Siam & Co shop orders, we may also share your data with the following trusted parties:

• Royal Mail — your name and delivery address are shared for the purpose of dispatching and tracking your order

• Wix Payments / payment processor — your payment details are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not have access to your full card details

• Subscription providers — if you sign up for a recurring order, relevant details may be shared with our subscription management system

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with legal requirements. Enquiry data is typically retained for 2 years. Purchase data is retained for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements.

Order and transaction data placed through Siam & Co is retained for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements. Delivery address data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil and potentially resolve any issues with your order. Abandoned cart data is retained for a period of 30 days from the date of abandonment.
